- Jordan was captured on video saying he doesn't approve of the relationship with his son Marcus
- Larsa is the ex-wife of Jordan's Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen
Larsa Pippen was not happy with Michael Jordan's comments about her relationship with his son, Marcus. The NBA icon was recently asked about the relationship between the ex-wife of his former teammate Scottie and his son.
The Chicago Bulls legend disapproved. Larsa has now fired back at Jordan for his comments.
The 60-year-old was asked about the relationship when leaving dinner at Paris' Matignon but laughed it off at first. When pressed, he answered with a firm "no."
Larsa and Marcus were rumoured to be dating for months but formally announced their relationship to the world with an Instagram post earlier this year.
Larsa was married to Scottie Pippen for over 20 years but finalized their divorce in 2021. The couple have four children together and first separated in 2016 after 19 years of marriage. Jordan and Pippen won six NBA titles together at Chicago Bulls
Larsa angry with Jordan
On a recent Separation Anxiety episode, she had quite a few things to say about Jordan's comments, according to TMZ.
"I didn't think it was funny," she said. "There's nothing funny about it. I was kind of embarrassed."
The 49-year-old was surprised by Jordan's remark since she thought the Jordans were fine with her relationship with Marcus.
"I was like traumatized," she said. "I'm like, 'Oh, my God. What are we going to do?' People think I lied."
Marcus said his father was a little intoxicated when he made the comments, and his father even texted him after he answered the paparazzi.

Scottie calls Jordan a terrible player
Sports Brief earlier reported on Scottie saying Jordan was a terrible player when he joined the NBA in the 1986/87 season. Jordan averaged 37.1 points in that season.
"He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was all one-on-one, he's shooting bad shots, and all of a sudden we become a team and we start winning and everybody forgot who he was."
In the three seasons before, Jordan won the Rookie of the Year award in the 1984/85 season and led the NBA in scoring (37.1 PPG) in the 1986/87 campaign.
