However, although most NBA players are mainly from the United States of America, some Mexican basketball players have infiltrated the ranks and have gone down in history as the GOATs.

With Horacio Llamas being the first Mexican drafted into the NBA, others have followed in his footsteps. Over the past few decades, it is without a doubt that the sport has become famous throughout the country and will remain so in the coming days.

Top 10 greatest Mexican basketball players of all time

To become more international and produce more talents that can attract the interest of the NBA franchise, Mexico has developed a program in her capital city to draft more athletes into the NBA.
