Rudy Gobert turned 31 on June 26, and goodwill messages have been pouring in for the Minnesota big man.

The Wolves star’s age may be advancing, but he is still one of the best centers in the league today.

To commemorate Gobert’s birthday, Sports Brief looks at all the 20-20 games he has racked up in his illustrious NBA career.

1. Jazz vs. Mavs (January 2017)

He first accomplished the 20-20 stat line on January 20, 2017, when the Utah Jazz faced the Dallas Mavericks.

He scored 27 points and grabbed 25 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 112-107 overtime win over the Mavs.

The Frenchman shot 8 of 12 from the field and made 11 of his 17 free throws in that victory.

He had seven boards in the extra period, per Fox Sports.

2. Jazz vs. Clippers (January 2019)

Gobert’s second 20-20 outing came on January 16, 2019, in the game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

He recorded 23 points and 22 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a comprehensive 129-109 win. He shot 7 of 10 from the floor and 9 of 10 from the free-throw line.

3. Jazz vs. Mavs (January 2021)

His third 20-20 game came against the Dallas Mavericks on January 27, 2021.

He punished the Mavs’ defense, tallying 29 points and 20 rebounds in Utah’s 116-104 win, per ESPN. He stepped up big time in the absence of Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined due to a concussion.

4. Jazz vs. Clippers (February 2021)

Gobert recorded his fourth career 20-20 game on February 17, 2021. He scored 23 points and pulled down 20 rebounds to lead Utah to a 114-96 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

He shot 8 of 12 from the field and 7 of 8 from the charity stripe.

5. Jazz vs. Warriors (March 2021)

He wreaked havoc against the Golden State Warriors on March 14, 2021, scoring 24 points and grabbing 28 rebounds.

Those numbers weren’t enough to hand the Utah Jazz the victory as the Warriors cruised to a 131-119 win.

6. Jazz vs. Hornets (December 2021)

Gobert’s sixth career 20-20 outing occurred on December 20, 2021, in the game against the Charlotte Hornets.

He scored 23 points and hauled down 21 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 112-102 win. He was exceptional from the free throw line, knocking down 15 of his 16 attempts there.

7. Jazz vs. Grizzlies (April 2022)

He dominated inside the paint in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies on April 5, 2022. He recorded 22 points and 21 boards to lead Utah to a narrow 121-115 victory.

Gobert shot 5 of 8 from the field and 12 of 18 from the free-throw line in that contest.

8. Wolves vs. Lakers (October 2022)

Gobert’s first 20-20 outing as a Minnesota player came on October 28, 2022, in the game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

He scored 22 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead the Wolves to a 111-102 victory over the winless Lakers.

9. Wolves vs. Clippers (January 2023)

Gobert’s most recent 20-20 game came on January 6, 2023. He made mincemeat of the Clippers’ defense, recording 25 points and 21 rebounds in the Wolves’ 128-115 win.

That was his ninth NBA game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.

No Wemby in World Cup

The Frenchman was selected first overall by the Spurs in the 2023 NBA Draft.
