The Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets will lock horns in the 2023 NBA Finals for the right to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Both teams are raring to go, and so are their respective fanbases, with the Nuggets and Heat supporters undoubtedly two of the best in the NBA.

Among those who can’t wait for the titanic clash are Miami’s celebrity fans.

DJ Khaled

To say that DJ Khaled is an avid Miami Heat fan would be a severe understatement. According to his own words, he bleeds Miami.

When TMZ asked him about the possibility of owning a team in the future, Khaled said, “It’s Miami Heat for life. It’s Miami everything.”

Hassan Whiteside revealed after his free agency in 2016 that Khaled was among those who convinced him to stay with the Heat.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He is one of the biggest sports stars in the world, with some calling him the greatest boxer of all time. There is another sport that Mayweather loves deeply, though, and that is basketball.

Mayweather is a hardcore Miami fan and is often seen watching Heat’s games.

Serena Williams

The tennis legend was recently seen watching Game 4 of the Heat’s first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, per New York Post.

Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, hilariously shared photos on social media of the 23-time Grand Slam champion dozing off during the Heat’s 119-114 win over the Bucks.

Williams has an excuse, though, as she is pregnant with her second child.

Jimmy Buffett

The 76-year-old musician is another longtime supporter of the Heat.

Buffett was ejected during the Heat’s game against the Knicks back in 2001 for cursing at referee Joe Forte.

Coco Gauff

Gauff showed her love for the Miami Heat during her press conference at the 2023 French Open, using the word "we" when talking about her favorite NBA team.

Gauff is close with Heat star Jimmy Butler, saying that he promised to give her family tickets for the NBA Finals.

Celebrity fans of the Nuggets

Sports Brief recently reported on the celebrity fans supporting the Nuggets. Among those rooting for Denver in the NBA Finals are Matt Stone, Trey Parker, John Elway, Peyton Manning, and Von Miller.

South Park creators Stone and Parker grew up in Colorado and have been Nuggets fans since they were young.

Elway, Manning, and Miller played for the Broncos and have supported the Nuggets since moving to Denver.
