Boston Celtics star, Jaylen Brown has sent another warning to the Miami Heat after surviving Game 5 in the Eastern Conference finals.

The Celtics registered a vital 110-97 victory to stave off elimination from the 2023 NBA playoffs. They have two games left to save their season.

The series shifts back to Miami, with the Heat leading 3-2. The Celtics have a chance to become the first-ever team in NBA playoff history to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

After going down 3-0 in the series, the Celtics have beaten the Heat by a combined 30 points over the past two potential elimination games.

Four of their starters, including Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, finished with over 20 points in what was a dominant performance at TD Garden.

The 17-time NBA champions made an astonishing 16-1 run early in the first quarter, putting Boston firmly in control, per Sporting News. After taking a double-digit lead from the 6:59 mark, they led throughout the game, and will need a similar performance on the road on Saturday.

Brown's warning to Heat

Shortly after the final buzzer, Brown took the opportunity to send a warning to the Heat, a team they beat in seven games in last season's conference finals. The Celtics are looking to make their second straight trip to the NBA Finals.

"They let us get two, so don't let us get another one. Only thing that can stop us is us, so we gotta come out and play our game, have fun and let God do the rest," he said, via SI.

The Celtics were heavily criticized for their performances in Games 1, 2, and 3, but have won the last two, giving them a chance to make a historic comeback.

Who's forced Games 6, 7?

Sports Brief earlier reported on teams that forced a Game 6 and Game 7 after going 0-3 down in the playoffs.

NBA teams are 0-149 when trailing 3-0 in a best-of-seven series.

After Celtics' Game 5 win, 12 NBA teams have now forced a Game 6. Only three teams in NBA history have forced a Game 7.
