The NBA universe is grieving the death of music icon Tina Turner.

Laker greats, LeBron James and Magic Johnson, were among those who paid tribute to the iconic singer, who passed away at the age of 83.

The ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ died peacefully on Wednesday, May 24.

Magic Johnson posted a sweet message on Twitter after the news of Turner’s passing broke, praising the legendary singer. The Basketball Hall of Famer also shared a throwback picture of them in his tweet.

Johnson remembered Turner as one of the greatest performers he had ever seen live, tweeting:

"Rest in peace to one of my favorite artists of all time, the legendary queen of rock n' roll Tina Turner. I’ve seen her many many times and hands down, she gave one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. She always gave you your moneys worth."

James pays tribute to Turner

LeBron James also took to social media to show his love for Turner. He posted an Instagram story with Turner’s music video for her hit song ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ playing on his television.

James captioned his story with "Rest in Paradise Queen Tina!!!!"

Turner remembered by sports stars

WNBA star Lisa Leslie also paid homage to Turner, calling her “a true icon” on her Instagram story.

Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith shared a picture of Turner, placing a pair of prayer hands and hearts emojis in his post.

WWE stars Charlotte Flair and 'The Iron Shiek' paid tribute to Turner as well, per TMZ.

Flair captioned her picture of Turner with “RIP.”

'The Iron Shiek' wrote that he loves Turner with all his heart.

Boston forces a Game 5
