Anthony scores 42 vs. Jazz
Anthony opened his campaign in the 2010 postseason with a bang, scoring a playoff career-high 42 points in the Denver Nuggets’ 126-113 win over the Utah Jazz.
He shot 18 of 25 from the floor, including 2 of 5 from the 3-point area in Game 1 of their first-round series.
Anthony wreaked havoc against the Jazz, who missed the services of Andrei Kirilenko due to a calf injury, per ESPN.
Anthony scores 42 vs. Celtics
Anthony torched the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of their first-round series in 2011, scoring 42 points. He shot 14 of 30 from the field and made 10 of his 11 free throws.
Apart from matching his playoff career high for points, Anthony also set a new high for rebounds with 17 boards.
Anthony’s efforts went for naught, though, as the New York Knicks suffered a gut-wrenching 96-93 loss to the Celtics.

Anthony helped the Knicks record their first postseason victory since 2001, scoring 41 points in New York’s 89-87 win over the Miami Heat on May 6, 2012.
