Murray erupts in fourth quarter

Murray went toe-to-toe with the Lakers in the final frame, scoring nearly as many points as Los Angeles in the fourth quarter of Game 2.

He gave it his all in the win against the Lakers, finishing with 37 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and six 3-pointers, per ESPN.

Murray is the first Nugget in NBA history to reach those numbers in a postseason game.

It was a struggle, though, for Murray before he caught fire in the fourth quarter. He shot just 5 of 17 in the first three quarters, including 2 of 9 from beyond the arc.

The knives were out for Murray, who scored just 14 points in the first 36 minutes of play.

He delivered, though, when the Nuggets needed him most.

Fans pay tribute to Murray

NBA fans took to social media to pay tribute to Murray after his late heroics.

The phrase ‘Jamal Murray is him’ became a trending topic on social media following his fourth-quarter masterclass.

Fans loved the incident when LeBron James failed to stop one of Murray’s threes in the fourth quarter.

Butler delivers in Game 1

Jimmy Butler led the Heat in the series opener, recording 35 points and six steals.

He scored 20 of his 35 points in the second half of Miami’s 123-116 victory.
