Butler inspires Heat to victory
The Heat veteran stayed down on the floor for a moment as he dealt with the pain. He opted to tough it out, with the visibly limping Butler going to the line to shoot his two free throws, per Sporting News.
He played through the pain in the closing minutes as the Heat tried to hold on to the win. His efforts were rewarded as the Heat pulled off a 108-101 victory.
When asked after the game how his ankle felt, Butler said, 'like a rolled ankle'.
Injury bug strikes Heat again
The Heat can ill afford to lose Butler in this series as they are already missing the services of two of their key players.
Tyler Herro injured his right hand while diving for a loose ball during the second quarter of Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Herro broke two fingers on his shooting hand during that play. He underwent surgery for his broken right hand and will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
