When the Sacramento Kings needed them most, Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox delivered.
They came up with incredible performances on Friday night, combining for 54 points to lead the Kings to a 118-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors and force an all-important Game 7 at home on Sunday afternoon.
Monk punished the Warriors in Game 6, finishing with 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and one steal in 32 minutes of action.
Fox also stuffed the stat sheet, scoring 26 points, dishing out 11 assists, and grabbing four rebounds. He also was active on the defensive end, recording three steals and one block.

Monk and Fox got some help from their teammates as three other Sacramento players scored in double figures.
Keegan Murray registered a double-double in the playoffs for the first time in his career, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles also contributed, each dropping 12 points.
The Kings took control of the contest in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 35-26 to build a seven-point lead at halftime.
They stretched that advantage to 10 points after three quarters, with the Kings answering almost every big play by the Warriors.
Sacramento pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Golden State 28-19, to tie the series at 3-3, per ESPN.

They shot just 37.2% from the field in the Game 6 loss. The Warriors struggled with their outside shot, missing 22 of their 32 3-point attempts.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson put up solid numbers, scoring 29 and 22 points, respectively.
Jordan Poole was a non-factor in Game 6, scoring just seven points on 2 of 11 shooting.
Sports Brief previously reported on Thompson sending a message to Curry after winning Game 4 at home.
