The Boston Celtics are moving on to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
They broke open a tight contest in the closing minutes, recording a 128-120 win over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of their first-round matchup.
Boston won the series 4-2 and will next face the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round.
The Hawks were well-positioned to take the series into Game 7, leading the Celtics 113-110 with less than five minutes left to play in Game 6.

Boston knew it was time to take over, unleashing an 11-0 blast to grab a 121-113 advantage with 2:07 remaining, per ESPN.
Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, and Jayson Tatum each buried a 3-pointer during that run to give the Celtics the lead for good.

Brown led Boston with 32 points, five rebounds, and two assists. He shot 13 of 25 from the field, including 6 of 8 from beyond the arc.
Tatum also had a monster night, scoring 30 points, grabbing 14 boards, and dishing out seven assists. He also was a menace on the defensive end, recording two blocks and one steal in 40 minutes of action.
Three other players scored in double figures for the Celtics. Marcus Smart finished the game with 22 points. Malcolm Brogdon and Al Horford dropped 17 and 10 points, respectively.
Young struggles in Game 6
It was a disappointing end to the season for the Hawks, who got outscored 30-20 in the fourth quarter.
It didn’t help matters for Atlanta that Trae Young fired blanks in the second half. He missed 12 of his 13 shot attempts in the final two quarters. He shot 9 of 28 from the floor in Game 6.
