The Bulls took advantage of the duo’s absence, building a 10-point lead in the third quarter. That didn’t faze the Bucks, who unleashed a 15-0 run during that period to grab the lead for good.

Milwaukee pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Chicago 26-16. It was a significant result for the Bucks, who secured home-court advantage throughout the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

Holiday and Portis lead Bucks

Wednesday’s win would not be possible without the brilliance of Holiday and Bobby Portis. They recorded impressive double-double performances against the Bulls.

Holiday scored 20 points and dished out 15 assists, while Portis finished with 27 points and 13 boards. Brook Lopez and Jevon Carter also contributed, scoring 26 and 16 points, respectively.

Wesley Matthews also showed his worth in the win against the Bulls as he played exceptional defense against DeMar DeRozan. The Bulls forward scored just eight points on 3 of 12 shooting from the floor.

Bucks can rest Giannis, Middleton

The Bucks extended their winning streak to three games with the victory. They hold an insurmountable three-game lead over the Boston Celtics with two games remaining on their schedule.

With the Bucks locking up the best record in the league, they can afford to rest Giannis and Middleton in their remaining regular season games.

Bucks down Sixers

Sports Brief recently reported on the Bucks’ win over the Sixers.

Antetokounmpo was excellent for Milwaukee in that contest, finishing with 33 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and three blocks.

He shot 13 of 17 from the field in the 117-104 win against Philadelphia.
