LeBron James and Bronny James
Before he launched his illustrious NBA career, the kid from Akron was once a star forward for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. LeBron captured his third state championship during his senior year and was at the top of every recruiting list in the country.
We all know the story now - James decided to skip college and go directly to the NBA. Before he went No. 1 in the 2003 NBA Draft, LeBron entertained basketball fans as an amateur athlete in the McDonald’s All-American Game for the final time.
He dominated the 2003 event, scoring 27 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing out seven assists as he led his East team to a 122-107 win.
20 years after that memorable game, it was his son, Bronny’s turn to entertain the crowd. He put on a show in front of a packed crowd, which included his famous dad.
The younger James impressed with his outside shooting, with all his 15 points coming from beyond the arc, per CBS Sports.

Dajuan Wagner and DJ Wagner
DJ Wagner was one of the heroes of the East team, scoring 19 points on 7 of 14 shooting from the field. The future Kentucky guard earned co-MVP honors, making his grandfather, Milt and dad, Dajuan proud.
Milt and Dajuan know how important this game is to a high school senior as they were both former McDonald’s All-Americans themselves.
Milt participated in the 1981 McDonald’s All-American Game. He was teammates with future NBA legends Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, and Chris Mullin. They ended up winning 96-95.
Dajuan followed in his father’s footsteps as he played in the 2001 edition of the McDonald’s All-American Game.
He dazzled in that contest, scoring a total of 25 points. That wasn’t enough to give his East team the victory, as they suffered a 131-125 loss.
