Giannis Antetokounmpo grabbed the headlines on Sunday when he grabbed a triple-double in unique circumstances.
Needing just one more rebound to achieve the feat, Antetokounmpo intentionally tossed the ball off the backboard in the dying seconds and caught it before the final buzzer sounded.
That counted as an offensive rebound, giving Giannis his fourth triple-double of the season.
However, that is a far cry from the number of triple-doubles the following players have amassed this campaign.

1. Nikola Jokic (25)
Nikola Jokic is looking to create more history. The reigning two-time MVP is in a prime position to win the coveted award for a third consecutive season because of his strong play.
Jokic is the main reason the Nuggets are currently the No. 1 team in the Western Conference. He is averaging a triple-double this season (24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 10.0 assists per game).
He has accumulated 25 triple-doubles this campaign, the latest coming in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Nuggets love it when Jokic stuffs the stat sheet, as they are undefeated this season when Jokic records a triple-double.
2. Luka Doncic (10)
Luka Doncic is the only other NBA player apart from Jokic to have ten triple-doubles this season.
He made history in the game against the New York Knicks last December, becoming the first NBA player to record a 60-point, 20-rebound triple-double.

NBADoncic scored 60 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, and dished out ten assists in the Mavericks’ wild 126-121 overtime win over the Knicks, per Yahoo! Sports.
3. Domantas Sabonis (7)
One guy who has taken his play to the next level this season is Domantas Sabonis. He has catapulted the Sacramento Kings to new heights, leading them to fourth place in the Western Conference standings with just weeks remaining in the regular season.
Like Jokic, Sabonis is a big man who likes to share the rock. He has seven triple-doubles this campaign, the latest of which came in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers on February 23. He finished with 18 points, 18 rebounds, and ten assists in that contest.
4. Ja Morant (6)
The NBA star has recently seen his public image take a beating with allegations of aggression off the court and now a gun violation.

NBAUnfortunately for him, that has taken the shine away from his spectacular play this season. He has recorded six triple-doubles this campaign, the latest against the Los Angeles Lakers on February 28.
He scored 39 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and dished out ten assists in that game.
Doncic and Booker reignite feud

Booker had the last laugh as the Suns prevailed by 130 points to 126.
