The Golden State Warriors registered their fifth straight win after beating the New Orleans Pelicans 108-99 to their homestand 5-0.
They are now four games above .500 for the first time this season and sit fifth in the Western Conference, one game behind the Phoenix Suns and one game up on the Dallas Mavericks.
The defending champions feared for the worst when Stephen Curry went down with a lower leg injury in early February. However, they've gone 7-3 since then and expect to have their superstar on Sunday.
Their last five straight victories haven't come easy, though. They were forced to overcome double-digit deficits in their last four games.

Against the Pelicans, they trailed by s much as 17 in the first quarter. Nevertheless, they outscored the Pelicans y 11 in the second quarter. Klay Thompson led the Warriors in scoring with 27 points. Six Warriors players finished with double digits in scoring.
Reactions to Warriors vs. Pelicans
The defending NBA champions have struggled for consistency all season. They have a poor record on the road, and it remains to be seen if they will turn up after a great homestand.
"It's been exciting to see our team, I think, turn a corner," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.
Thomspon said the team is having fun but insisted they understand the importance of the remaining 22 games.
"We are having fun, above all. ... You realize how important all these games are from here on out. We want to do everything we can to have home court, especially in the first round. So, it's a great challenge and it's there for us to take," via ESPN.

Steve Kerr's team were underwhelming in the first half but turned the screw in the third quarter, just like old times. They won the third quarter 42-16 while shooting 52 percent, including 50 percent from deep.
Jordan Poole scored 34 points, Klay Thompson had 19 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, and Jonathan Kuminga added 19 points from the bench.
