During that incredible win, Brown and his Celtics teammates got into a back-and-forth with fans several times. According to NBC Sports, a Sixers fan was ejected after getting into a heated verbal altercation with Marcus Smart.

Brown said he was jawing with Sixers fans before the game and revealed some went too far with their remarks.

"It depends. I started talking to one of the fans because it got a little bit excessive, where it got a little disrespectful and stuff like that. Even before the game, we was entering the arena. It was people saying 'I hope you tear your ACL.' I understand people care and they love the team that they cheer for, but I think it gets a little excessive at times."

However, Brown had the last laugh as they secured a big win to cement their lead on top of the Eastern Conference standings. The 26-year-old led all Celtics scorers with 26 points. The Celtics have won all three meetings vs. the Sixers this season.

Doc Rivers's team will have a chance to win the remaining game set for April 4. The Win also saw the 2020 NBA finalists move four games ahead of the 76ers, per Boston.com.

The game was tied at 107 with 10.8 seconds left. The Celtics' first attempt at finding a game-winner was unsuccessful as the Sixers used their foul to give.

However, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla called a timeout and drew a play. Marcus Smart passed the ball to the MVP candidate, who sank a pull-up three-pointer over De'Anthony Melton with 1.3 seconds remaining, per CBS Sports.

Embiid quickly made a 70-foot shot, but the final buzzer had already sounded.
