Beverley snubs Golden State offer

He has now chosen, with the 34-year-old opting to sign with his hometown team. According to Sports Illustrated, Golden State was also interested in acquiring his services, but Beverley decided to pick Chicago.

The Bulls are hoping Beverley can help them with their playoff push. After making the playoffs last campaign, they have regressed this season, coming out of the All-Star break with a paltry 26-33 record.

The Bulls maybe 11th in the Eastern Conference right now, but they still have a good shot of making the postseason as Chicago is just two games behind the 10th-ranked Toronto Raptors for a play-in berth.

Beverley to bolster Chicago backcourt

The Bulls look for Beverley to bolster a Bulls backcourt that has been missing the services of Lonzo Ball for more than a year now. He is reportedly out for the season due to a knee problem that has sidelined Ball since January 2022.

Beverley averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 45 starts with the Lakers this season, perYahoo! Sports.

However, Beverley’s main strength is his defensive prowess and ability to agitate and frustrate opposing players, a role he will likely play in Chicago.

Kevin Love moves to Miami

Sports Brief recently reported on Kevin Love signing with the Miami Heat after completing his own buyout from Cleveland.

Love fell out of the Cavs rotation and took his talent to South Beach after clearing waivers.

He will wear the number 42 for Miami.
