NBA All-Star Weekend is just around the corner with Salt Lake City, Utah set to host this year's festivities.
One basketball legend who loved playing in this event in the past is Michael Jordan.
Here are the five greatest NBA All-Star Games of 'His Airness'.
1. 1988 All-Star Game/Weekend
Michael Jordan dazzled the home crowd during the 1988 All-Star Game, erupting for 40 points to lead the Eastern Conference All-Stars to a 138-133 win over their Western opponents. His 40-piece was two points fewer than the All-Star scoring record set by Wilt Chamberlain.

Jordan had already put on a show before the All-Star Game, thrilling the Chicago fans with his high-flying dunks in the Slam Dunk Contest. He defeated Dominique Wilkins in an epic showdown.
2. 1997 All-Star Game
'His Airness' loved setting records, even in the All-Star Game. He did just that in the 1997 edition, recording the first triple-double in NBA All-Star history. Jordan pulled off the feat with the 50th Anniversary Team in attendance, showing the greats that he is a cut above the rest.
3. 1996 All-Star Game
The 1995-96 campaign was the revenge season for Jordan and the Bulls. They wanted to destroy the opposition after losing to the Orlando Magic in the playoffs the previous season.
For MJ, that included the All-Star Game. He won his second All-Star MVP in 1996, scoring 20 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the field.

NBA4. 1998 All-Star Game
Jordan put on a show in his last All-Star Game as a Chicago Bull. He scored a game-high 23 points and racked up eight assists and six rebounds in the 1998 edition. Those numbers were enough to net him his third and final MVP.
5. 2003 All-Star Game
Jordan had unretired for a second time and was back playing in the All-Star Game. He finally bade farewell in the 2003 edition and was so close to winning the MVP that year. He made a tough fadeaway jumper with 4.8 seconds remaining in overtime to give the East a 138-136 lead.
That advantage did not hold though, with Jermaine O’Neal fouling Kobe Bryant in the ensuing possession. West went on to win in double overtime, denying Jordan a dream ending on the All-Star stage.
