The 7-foot-4 Frenchman played in the US last October and demonstrated why there's so much hype around him. The hype is understandable since the young star can do almost everything on the court.

The skills he possesses for his size might be why your favorite NBA team accumulates draft assets for the future. His shot-blocking, scoring, size, and versatility have him among the most intriguing prospects since James, according to CBS Sports.

James's advice to Wembanyama

James recently became NBA's all-time leading scorer, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 40-year record. He was asked about the Frenchman and had a few words to say about him.

“One, the most important thing is to stay true to the game and the main point of anything, give to the game. Work your bu**t off, try to be better than you were yesterday. Every single day, commit to the game. I always talk about the game gods," via Sportskeeda.

Wembanyama is set to go first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. The Metropolitans 92 star met James last year in Las Vegas after his team's game against G League Ignite.

Kevin Durant on Wembanyama

Sports Brief earlier reported on Brooklyn Nets' Kevin Durant expressing his thoughts about the generational prospect from France, saying he is excited to see Wembanyama in action.

There's a possibility the Brooklyn Nets superstar will play against him when he gets drafted next year. Wembanyama has already demonstrated that he belongs among the elite stars in the NBA.

"I’m impressed with him, I can’t wait to see him in the league, see how everything pans out for him in the league and I’m also looking forward to playing against him as well," Durant commented.
