Davis reacts to return
The 2020 NBA champion said he was easing his way back to see how he feels, per ESPN.
"I was kind of just testing the water. Even though I've been playing pick-up and things, you can control that pace. In real games, you can't. They're flying down the floor and you've got to sprint back or your team is running."
He had a scare in the third quarter after he was fouled by Zach Collins. He tweaked his ankle slightly on the same leg that kept him out.
Rui Hachimura, who was recently acquired from the Washington Wizards also made his debut scoring 12 points in 22 minutes.
