Jayson Tatum has heaped praise on Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, who produced an impressive performance against the Houston Rockets.
Edwards scored a season high of 44 points, which helped the Timberwolves hand the Rockets their 13th defeat in a row.
Edwards scored 40 points for the first time this season on 17-of-29 shooting from the field, including eight 3-pointers and including some thunderous dunks. Minnesota have now won seven of their last 10.
The 21-year-old is having a good season and is averaging 24.1 points per game, with his performance coming at a time when his teammates were having a rough night.

He scored half of the Wolves' field goals in the first half and scored 19 points, per ESPN. D'Angelo Russell added 23, while Nathan Knight scored 19 off the bench.
Tatum praises Edwards
Boston Celtics star and MVP candidate, Jayson Tatum took to Twitter to express his thoughts on Edwards.
"Ant man is really a problem… real hoop game."
The Wolves are 7th in the Western Conference with a 24-24 record. The youngster said he has to produce these kinds of performances every night, per the Athletic.
“I think the hardest thing about setting a tone is coming out every night, setting it every night, like every single night,” Edwards said. “That’s my goal - to do it every night. Not one game and then the next one. I’m trying to do it every night.”
