The 19-year-old Wembanyama, barring any injuries or unforeseen circumstances, will be selected first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft according to several projections, and he has been dropping performances to back that up.

Meanwhile, Lame's rise to social media stardom has been nothing short of sensational. The Senegalese-Italian is now one of the most recognised popular culture figures in the world, per New York Times.

Wembanyama and Lame connect

Considering the 2023 Paris Fashion Week is ongoing, there were a lot of celebrities in the vicinity. Therefore, most of them came to see the Bulls and Pistons' rivalry reignited.

Formula 1 stars, Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon were present and musicians, Pharrell Williams and Lil Baby were courtside.

NBA icon, Magic Johnson and France's very own Tony Parker couldn't miss the event. 2004 NBA champion, Richard Hamilton also graced the event.

However, Wembanyama and Lame stole the show. The two interacted briefly before getting photographed, but the social media star could not let the basketballer go without joking about how tall the Frenchman was, per the Athletic.

True to his element, Lame never said a word and was still hilarious.

The Bulls went on tobeat the Pistons 126-108 in an entertaining game.

Kevin Durant on Wembanyama

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kevin Durant revealing that he is excited to see Wembanyama headed to the NBA.

The Brooklyn Nets superstar was glad the French basketball phenom loves the game and puts in the work needed to get to the top.

The two-time NBA champion added he is looking forward to playing against the young star when he joins the association.
