After the Warriors beat the Wizards on Monday, 16th January, Kerr said Curry is the modern Jordan, which is a huge compliment to the 2022 NBA Finals MVP.
The Warriors bounced back, beating the Wizards, 127-118, after losing to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night.
Curry, who is slowly easing his way back from an injury suffered in mid-December 2022, was impressive. He scored 41 points while Jordan Poole added 32, leaving them with a 22-22 record, per ESPN.

Kerr compares Curry to Jordan
Jordan and Curry are undoubtedly generational talents. Their respective impact on the game will be felt for generations to come. The two have won a combined 10 NBA titles.
With 28 seconds left in the game, Curry was greeted with loud MVP chants after an epic performance at the Capitol One Arena. As Curry was getting ready to take a free throw, he smiled as the intensity of the chants continued to grow.
Kerr said Curry hears MVP chants on the road because half of the fans support the sharpshooter, per NBC Sports.
"He's the modern MJ. I used to see this playing with the Bulls. Half the crowd's got red 23 jerseys on and now half the crowd's got blue and yellow 30 jerseys."

NBAThe 34-year-old said it is special to be compared to Jordan.
"I think it's interesting because, like you said, he played with [Jordan] and he understood what the road shows looked like in opposing arenas when fans come out and how Dub Nation has grown over the years. So that's special."
The four-time NBA champion has always attracted thousands of fans on the road. Most would be seated in the arena before tip-off just to watch Curry warm up.
