The Golden State Warriors bounced back in style after three defeats in a row by beating the San Antonio Spurs in front of a record-breaking 68,323 fans at Alamodome.
The defending NBA champions won 144-113, spoiling the host's celebration of their 50th anniversary.
It smashed the previous record of 62,046 who converged to watch Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls against the Atlanta Hawks at the Georgia Dome on March 27, 1998.
The reigning NBA champions were coming off a frustrating 125-113 defeat to the Phoenix Suns, who were missing most of their starters, including Chris Paul and Devin Booker, per CBS Sports.

Curry on record-breaking attendance
Curry, who is returning from a shoulder injury that kept him out of NBA action for nearly a month, had 15 points in 23 minutes in his second game back. The Warriors had eight players in double digits.
Curry said he loved the atmosphere of the arena, but said it took that huge crowd to bring the best out of his team, per ESPN.
"It was awesome. It was cool to see them recognize their 50-year history and all of the great moments that have gone into this organization, the successes and championships they've had and the greats that were in the building. It was awesome to experience and it just takes 64,000 to bring our best road performance of the year."

NBASpurs greats David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Becky Hammon and Tony Parker were in attendance. Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who won two rings with the Spurs, said he got emotional after a video tribute of him.
The Spurs played in the Alamodome from 1993 to 2002 before moving to the AT&T Center. The spurs are 13-29 this season while the Warriors are 21-21.
Lakers player calls Curry unguardable
Sports Brief earlier reported on Lakers forward Juan Toscano Anderson calling his former Warriors' teammate unguardable.
Anderson was referring to Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals where Curry rallied the Warriors from a 2-1 series deficit.
Curry's 43-point performance in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics is considered one of the best in NBA history. The Warriors went into that game 2-1 down and were staring at a 3-1 deficit in Game 5.
