As shared by NBA France, Mbappe revealed that Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, Giannis Antentokoumpo, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the best NBA players at the moment in his opinion.

Surprisingly, there was no place for Golden State Warriors' kingpin Stephen Curry, with the Philadelphia Sixers' Joel Embiid and Donovan Mitchell of Cleveland Cavaliers also left out.

Curry is in unstoppable form

Curry is averaging 30 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game, on 50 per cent shooting from the field in 26 games this season, per the Athletic.

His 43-point performance in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics is considered one of the best in the association's history. The Warriors went into that game 2-1 down and were staring at a 3-1 deficit in Game 5.

After winning that game, the Warriors never looked back. They went on to win the next two, which sealed their fourth title in eight years.

Curry was awarded as the Finals MVP - the only trophy missing from his cabinet. It cemented his status as one of the most influential players in NBA history.

He is also the three-point leader in association history and has a catalogue of heat-check moments in the league.

Mbappe's speech to Nets player

Sports Brief earlier reported on Mbappe giving a lovely speech to Nets players in their locker room, after a comfortable win over the Spurs.

After the buzzer rang, Durant walked over to the Frenchman and handed over his game-worn jersey, before the striker went to the Nets' locker room.

Mbappe then congratulated the team and wished them luck for the rest of the season, and also greeted each player.
