LA Lakers superstar LeBron James is playing at an elite level as he turns 38 and looks like he's got more to give.
He hasn't revealed what age he intends to retire, but the four-time NBA champion has hinted if his mind and body feel great, he will keep going until he's got nothing to give.
The 38-year-old is averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 27 games this season. James has achieved a lot in his career but Lakers struggles this season mean he may leave without winning another title.
Although he won the 2020 NBA championship with the purple and gold, he has missed the playoffs twice and has been eliminated in the first round.

This season, they are 13th, and there are little signs they will recover to move into playoff positions given Anthony Davis's injury problems.

LeBron on retirement
Speaking after the Lakers lost 112-98 to his former team Miami Heat, he said he doesn't know when he will retire. He says he can play at the elite level if his mind is good, per ESPN.
"I don't have a number. I know as long as my mind stays in it, I can play at this level for a minute. Now, that's up to my mind. My body is going to be OK because if my mind is into it, I will make sure my body is taken care of and I'll continue to put in the work."
