Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has admitted that their team is struggling following a dreadful run which saw them lose six games in nine, leaving them 11th in the West.
Steve Kerr's team are coming off their road trip which they went 1-5 and are coming back with an injured Stephen Curry ahead of an eight-game homestand.
The Warriors have been up and down in the league this season. They lost important role players in free agency but have yet to find balance in their team.
Given how strong the Western Conference is they may need to find some momentum before the All-Star break in February. If not a play-in tournament may be a real possibility for the defending NBA champions.

Draymond on Warriors struggles
According to ESPN, the 32-year-old said the team is fragile at the moment and improving their mental strength.
"Right now, I think we are very fragile. You start going through these things and then you start believing them. Once you start believing them, it becomes who you are. The only way to break them is by being mentally tough."
The only positive thing for the seven-time NBA champions is that they have the joint-best home record in the NBA (12-2), the same as the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Dubs face the Grizzlies on Christmas Day in what promises to be a mouth-watering affair. The two met in an eventful and fiery playoff series last season which the Warriors won in six games.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Jayson Tatum revealing that he and Green had a conversation weeks after the NBA Finals where the Boston Celtics lost in six games.
Draymond shared why it is hard to win an NBA championship and try and run it back.
"He wasn't rubbing it in or anything. We just talked about the Finals, about life, about him getting married."
