- Four out of the five fights on the stacked main card were all finished in round one at EFC 105
- The co-main event fight between Peace Nguphane and Mark Kamba ended prematurely in round one
- Jeremie Tshibala and Humphrey Mulenga both picked up wins three weeks after their last victories
EFC 105 promised to be an action-packed event, which didn’t disappoint.
The prelims got the action underway nicely, but the main card set things alight.
From the five fights on the main card, only one made it into round two. That was the main event which saw Nkazimulo Zulu claim the Bantamweight title after submitting Musa Sethwape in the second round.
Sports Brief looks at some of the best photos from four fights on the main card.
Humphrey Mulenga vs Nkosi Doyisa
Mulenga is proving why he’s called King Cobra as he continues to show off a lethal striking game.
Mulenga stepped back into the Hexagon three weeks after his last win to take on Doyisa. King Cobra made light work of his opponent, forcing a referee stoppage in round one due to strikes.
Jeremie Tshibala vs Pietie Coxen
‘The Warrior of God’ Tshibala returned to action three weeks after his last fight.
Tshibala took on the veteran Pietie Coxen but didn’t let the pressure of fighting an experienced athlete get to him. Tshibala rocked Coxen with nasty shots and landed ground and pound before the referee stopped it.
Micky Cloete vs Vincent Nkana
Billed as a fight between the mouse and the elephant, because of the nicknames, Micky came out on top.
Cloete showed off his impressive submission skills as he hooked in a keylock submission in round one, forcing Nakana to tap out. Now on a three-fight win streak, Micky the Mouse called for a shot to be the number one contender, adding that no Flyweight could stop him.

FootballPeace Nguphane vs Mark Kamba
While the fight did end in round one, it was a result that no one wanted.
The bout was called off after Nguphane was deemed to have landed an illegal blow on a downed opponent. Kamba claimed it hit his face, and he could not continue fighting. Video replays suggested that the blow struck his collarbone and was declared a no-contest.
Nguphane accused Kamba of lying and trying to get out of the fight, and the audience seemed to agree as they booed Kamba during his post-match interview.
Zulu wins Bantamweight belt
Nkazimulo ‘King Shaka’ Zulu is the king of the Bantamweights once again.
Zulu submitted Musa Sethwape in round four of the main event of EFC 105 to claim the title once more.
Zulu took the fight on short notice but didn’t look rusty in the Hexagon, Sports Brief reported.
