Michael Boapeah, a Ghanaian kickboxer, has taken social media by storm following his spectacular victory against Ulric Bokeme, a Swiss-Congolese opponent.

The 23-year-old athlete, who is of Dutch-Ghanaian descent and also known as 'Time Bomb', delivered a devastating knockout in the first round of their middleweight clash at the Glory Collision 5 kickboxing event on Saturday night.

Ghanaweb reports that Boapeah's impressive triumph has positioned him as a formidable contender for the esteemed Glory Middleweight title.

His next challenge will involve a face-off against either Donovan Wisse or Serkan Ozcaglayan.

Boapeh rips out Bokeme's teeth

After delivering a series of rapid jabs, Boapeah managed to put Bokeme in a highly uncomfortable position, resulting in his opponent spitting out his mouthguard.

The cameras swiftly zoomed in on Bokeme's face, revealing the absence of his front teeth, a clear indication of the impact and power behind Boapeah's devastating blows.

Who is Michael Boapeh?

Born on January 1, 2000, Boapeah is a Dutch-born kickboxer of Ghanaian heritage. He is actively involved in the middleweight division of the renowned kickboxing organization Glory.

Having previously participated in the Golden Fighter Championship and Colosseum Tournament, Boapeah has established his presence on the kickboxing scene.

As of April 2023, he currently holds the impressive rank of being the 8th-best middleweight kickboxer globally, according to Beyond Kick.

Sports Brief also reported that the online world was greeted with a fresh boxing sensation as Seth Gyimah, also recognized as Freezy MacBones, delivered a stunning upset against the experienced veteran, Darryl Sharp at the Copper Box Arena in London on Sunday.

Gyimah (33) was only making his second professional appearance in the light heavyweight division when he dominated and outfought his opponent.

Through hard work and determination, Gyimah started working his way to becoming a pugilist at the age of 27. Six years down the line, he has two wins in two fights.
