The Irish MMA star will make his highly anticipated return later this year as he takes on Michael Chandler.
While The Notorious already has a huge fan base eager to see him step foot in the Octagon once again, it doesn't get as big as the 7 ft 1 inch Shaquille O'Neal.
The four-time NBA champion believes that McGregor will be back with a vengeance and become a champion in the organisation again, MMA Junkie reported.

Shaq likens himself to McGregor
A big fan of the sport, O'Neal also believes that he and McGregor are cut from the same cloth.
"Me and McGregor have a similar type of blood. When you doubt us, that’s when we rise. They doubted him, and he went to the top," Shaq added.
He admitted that while McGregor took a few bumps and left the sport for a while, he was confident that The Notorious would come back with a vengeance.
McGregor excited about return
The Irishman is also looking forward to returning with a bang and recently spoke of his eagerness for the fight, The Mirror reported.
"I'm looking forward to it. I feel good, I feel energetic, I feel ready," he said.

The former double champ has no confirmed date for his clash against Chandler, but he will have to face his opponent very soon. The two fighters are scheduled to serve as the trainers on The Ultimate Fighter before facing each other at the season finale.

The mind games have already begun between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor.
The two lightweights will square off in the Octagon later this year, and Chandler is already making predictions about the fight.
Chandler, referring to himself as Mystic Mike, predicted that he would finish the Irishman in round two, Sports Brief reported.
