Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has dropped in the latest pound-for-pound rankings as this comes barely two months after his loss to Leon Edwards.
Usman, who dominated his rematch with Edwards, was just a minute from securing a famous win before the Jamaican sent him to the canvass following a devastating kick to his head.
The Nigerian Nightmare was knocked out as Edwards ended his dominance after five successful title defences.
And on the UFC's pound-for-pound list, Usman dropped to No.3, while featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski retains his hold at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings.

The Nigerian Nightmare remains ahead of Edwards, who has now moved to fifth position thanks to his incredible victory, Punch reports.
Meanwhile, Usman is eyeing a trilogy fight with Edwards in his quest to back the UFC welterweight title he first got his hands on back in 2019.
The duo had their first fight back in December 2015, with Usman winning unanimously on that occasion.

Usman later broke his silence after he lost all his belts to Englishman Leon Edwards in the dramatic UFC 278.
Usman was already 3-1 up, but a last-minute high kick from Edwards prevented him from defending the welterweight title for the sixth time.
The Nigerian was stunned but says he was preparing to finish his opponent before everything happened suddenly.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Usman has disclosed that he would not stage a fight with Israel Adesanya despite his ambitions.
The 35-year-old disclosed that their Nigerian heritage will prevent such a fight from ever happening as they continue to dominate their respective categories.
Both fighters are two of the biggest UFC stars in the world, and Usman once hinted that he could go up 35lb and bypass middleweight, where Adesanya currently reigns.
