Speaking after the event, White said he was impressed with Cameron’s composure during the fight, especially considering that he was only 21 years old. White added that if the South African didn’t have a nickname yet, it should be “The Future.”

Cameron faced stiff competition during the bout against an opponent with more fight experience than him but showed his resilience to produce a stunning knockout in the third round.

EFC’s President Cairo Howarth had high praise for Cameron following his fight.

“We’ve always believed that Cameron is a global star for the future and he’s proven us right on the biggest stage in the sport. The path of past EFC champions to Vegas is a well-worn one and we know that many others in the future will continue to follow Camerons’ example for years to come,” he said.
