Koepka shot a 68 in the final round to finish the event with a one-over-par total of 281.

He made history with his triumph at Shinnecock, becoming the first golfer since Curtis Strange in 1989 to win back-to-back U.S. Open titles. He also became the seventh golfer to win consecutive U.S. Opens.

Koepka managed to hold off a furious final-round surge by Fleetwood, who shot a 63 in his final 18 holes.

Golf fans will forever remember Koepka’s triumph in the 2018 PGA Championship as he went toe to toe with Tiger Woods in the final round.

Woods, who was looking for his first major win since the 2008 U.S. Open, sent fans into a frenzy with his late surge at Bellerive.

Woods shot the best final round of his career in a major, firing a six-under-par 64. However, that wasn’t enough to beat Koepka, who shot a pair of 66s in the last two rounds.

He finished with a 16-under-par total of 264 to win the tournament by two strokes over Woods, per Bleacher Report.

Koepka became the fifth American golfer to win three major championships by the age of 29, joining Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Jordan Spieth.

2019 PGA Championship

Koepka successfully defended his PGA Championship title in 2019, winning the tournament by two shots over Dustin Johnson to claim his fourth major championship.

Koepka shot a 74 in the final round to finish the event with an eight-under-par total of 272.

He managed to secure the win despite bogeying five of the last eight holes.

Koepka became the first LIV golfer to capture a major title, winning the 2023 PGA Championship by two strokes over Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland, per CBS Sports.

With the victory, Koepka joined Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only golfers to win three PGA Championship titles in the stroke-play era.
