Kaizer Chiefs could be set to lose out on another transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns, as Sipho Mbule looks set to join the Brazilians.
The Supersport United midfielder has been heavily linked with both Chiefs and Sundowns, but the player is reported to be following Teboho Mokoena in leaving Supersport for Sundowns.
Just last month, The South African reported that the player’s agent was meeting with Chiefs over a possible move.
Now Soccer Laduma has reported that the player’s move to Sundowns is as good as done. The publication spoke to an agent who confirmed that Mbule would be heading to Masandawana at the end of the season when his contract expires.

FootballMbule has yet to play for Supersport United this year, and it is unclear if the player is being punished. Supersport United management was understood to be upset with the player when he was approached by Sundowns. Mbule could be facing the wrath of that anger, much like Siyethemba Sithebe has experienced at Amazulu.
Sithebe has been banned from playing for the club after agreeing on a deal to join Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the season.
Kaizer Chiefs have come under fire from fans previously for their failure to snap up players ahead of other clubs. Chiefs were also interested in securing the services of Mokoena but lost out to Sundowns on that deal as well.
Siyethemba Sithebe will not be selected for Amazulu as long as he remains an Usuthu player. Coach Benni McCarthy confirmed that Sithebe would be ‘unavailable’ for selection, Sports Brief reported.

FootballSithebe has yet to feature for Amazulu during the two games that the club has played this year and he hasn’t even been on the bench. McCarthy explained that he could not select a player if the player wasn’t available for selection, iDiski Times confirmed.
Sithebe’s contract situation with Amazulu made headlines in January as Kaizer Chiefs actively pursued the player, The South African confirmed. While Chiefs could not agree on a deal for the player’s services, they did manage to secure his services once his contract expires at the end of the season.
