After scoring a brace for Napoli in their emphatic win over Torino on Sunday, 19 March, Victor Osimhen has now made it clear that his focus is now on helping the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Napoli continued with their impressive showing this season with a 4-0 win at Torino, which continued their topping of the Serie A table with 19 points.

So far this term, Osimhen has been an important member of Napoli's squad and the Nigerian has also won the hearts of fans considering how he has been getting the goals for them.

When did he score?

Napoli started the game at Torino impressively and were able to score within nine minutes through Osimhen, before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia netted the second via a penalty in the 51st minute.

Osimhen got his second goal in the 51st minute and it was Ndombele who netted the fourth goal for Napoli in the 68th minute.

The Nigerian striker took to his Twitter page to express happiness and confirmed his readiness to help the Super Eagles in the coming games.

Osimhen wins UCL award

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Napoli forward Victor Osimhen won the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week Award following his incredible header against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Nigerian international edged Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and Manchester City stars Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin de Bruyne to the prize.

Osimhen netted twice in Napoli’s 3-0 win over the Dutch giants as his side advanced to the quarterfinal stage 5-0 on aggregate.

It is the very first time Napoli will reach the last-eight stage of the competition.
