Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan is full of admiration for former Nigeria captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha.
Gyan was bewildered by Okocha's skills, as he watched old footage of the ex-Super Eagles star during his days in the English Premier League with Bolton Wanderers.
Reacting to old clips of the Nigerian legend, Gyan concluded Okocha is one of the greatest to ever have played the game.
“Hahaha... Jay-Jay [Okocha] is one of the best players Africa has ever produced. His skill scale, and his skill level was out of this world," Gyan told SuperSport TV.

Gyan recalled watching Okocha in action when the former Black Stars skipper was still in school, and seeing him represent Nigeria at the World Cup.
"He is one of the greatest players, one of those guys who opened the way for us; those guys who were playing at that time and you could see Ronaldinho on the bench. He was up there, he was one of the best and I'm happy to see him play..."
Gyan and Okocha have been working for SuperSport as pundits during the just ended 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Sports Brief also reported on ex Ghanaian forward Gyan naming his five-a-side team, which includes himself.
The 37-year-old, who is yet to formally hang up his boots, was asked to devise his dream team with players from Portugal and Ghana only.
