Osimhen's contract at Napoli

The Super Eagles striker is contracted to his Naples club until June 2025, and Real Madrid will have to make a big offer before Napoli can consider selling him.

For the Super Eagles, Osimhen has also been impressive and has been tipped to equal/break Rashidi Yekini's 37-goal record in the national team.

Emotional Victor Osimhen opens up

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen narrated how he survived in Lagos, Nigeria, where he had to sell water on the streets.

The Nigerian international, who joined the Italian club Napoli in the summer of 2020, stated that he lost both parents while he was young.

Osimhen, who grew up around Olusosun in the Ojota area of Lagos, was part of the Golden Eaglets squad that won the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, where he scored 10 goals in 7 matches.

He then played for the U23 team before earning a call-up to the Super Eagles prior to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
