Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun has made it clear that he wants to play for the Super Eagles and not the Three-Lions of England despite playing for youth teams of the Europeans.
For many years now, Nigeria and England have been involved in serious tussle on the allegiances of players with the Europeans recently winning after getting Tammy Abraham, Bukayo Saka and Fikayo Tomori.
Former NFF President Amaju Pinnick tried to convince Abraham to play for Nigeria, but the Roma star chose England national team same with Tomori.
According to the report on GOAL, Balogun explained that he is only waiting for the official approach for the Nigerian Football Federation chiefs to play for the West African nation.

Folarin Balogun's statement
"I haven't heard anything from Nigeria, but I'm open to anything because Nigeria is very close to my heart.
"My family's from there. I always have love for Nigeria. That's a conversation that I need to have with people around me, my agent, and obviously my family.
"But if I was asked about the opportunity to play for Nigeria, then I can have that conversation. But first I need to be asked."
Tammy Abraham meets Osimhen
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how AS Roma Striker, Tammy Abraham, met with Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, as they hosted Napoli in the Serie A on Sunday night.
