Known for his magical dribbling skills during his playing days, Okocha stunned the world following his exploits for several clubs in Europe.
The Enugu-born ex-international featured for Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbahce, Paris Saint Germain and other clubs in Europe.
During his time with the English club Bolton Wanderers, he earned the moniker "Jay-Jay – so good they named him twice".

FootballOkocha played for Nigeria’s national football team between 2003 and 2006, featuring in 73 matches and scoring 14 goals.
He was Nigeria’s Footballer of the Year a record seven times, but somehow he missed out on the prestigious CAF Player of the Year Award.
As he celebrates his 49th birthday, CAF wrote on Twitter:
“So good they named him twice. Happy birthday to the @NGSuperEagles legend, @IAmOkocha.”
