Heartbroken Former Super Eagles Striker Breaks Silence Following Tragic Death of Ada Ameh

The death of Nigerian actress Ada Ameh has been announced leaving many Nigerians home and abroad heartbroken

Peter Ijeh who was former Super Eagles star mourned the actress claiming that Ada Ameh used to be his close friend

Ijeh started his football career at Julius Berger where he played 27 games before moving to Europe in 2001

Former Super Eagles star Peter Ijeh has been left heartbroken following the shocking demise of Nigerian actress Ada Ameh who passed away on Sunday, 17 July.

Ada Ameh was a Nigerian actress who spent more than two decades in the Nigerian movie industry and was most notable for her character as Anita in the 1996 movie titled Domitilla.

While expressing sadness on his official Facebook page, Peter Ijeh who now works as a coach recalled how late Adah Ameh inspired him years while playing football.

Ijeh who played five games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria however enjoined people to always exhibit good character at all time.

Peter Ijeh's reaction about Adah Ameh's death

''I remembered one of AJ Nations Cup . She whispered to my ears hit a goal. Of course I delivered and later won the AJ nations cup highest goal scorer.
''We met again months ago after awhile. It's like we never missed each-other after several years. We took pictures with great smiles.
''It is still like yesterday.
''Death is a debt every human will pay. Always be of good character and behavior cos no one knows the time. When one died, you were supposed to live on in the memories of others. That's what I'd always been told.''

Napoli tell suitors to pay staggering amount for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how the sporting director of Italian club Napoli, Cristiano Giuntoli, has informed interested clubs to offer €130million for striker Victor Osimhen.

The 23-year-old forward has attracted interest from quite a number of English Premier League clubs, as well as German outfit Bayern Munich.

Punch reports that the club’s president Aurelio Laurentiis had said that only a payment of €100m would see Osimhen leave the club.

After scoring 18 goals in 32 matches in all competitions last season, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United are some of the Premier League clubs linked with Osimhen.
