In the last two seasons, the Nigerian talisman has been nothing short of outstanding, and he could be on his way out of the Jupiler league by summer.
According to a report via Soccernet, Lazio coach, Maurizio Sarri is a fan of Onuachu, and he wants to bring the 27-year-old to the Stadio Olimpico.
It is expected Lazio will be willing to pay the $30million asking price placed on the Super Eagles striker by Genk as they prepare for life without the 27-year-old.
Onauchu won the top striker's prize in the Belgian Jupiler League last season when he finished with 30 goals and has already scored 19 times this season with just 28 games played.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles forward, Paul Onauchu is commanding the interest of top European teams ahead of next season after dominating the Belgian Serie A.
According to Brila, Onauchu scored his second hat trick over the weekend to help Genk maintain their hopes of finishing in a European spot with a 5-0 over Eupen.
The Nigerian forward has been limited by injuries this season but it is expected that Genk will struggle to find a replacement for the forward who has scored over 55 goals in the last two seasons for the Jupiler outfit.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Paul Onauchu scored two penalties and a late third to hand Genk an emphatic 5-0 victory against KAS Eupen in the Belgian Jupiler league on Sunday, April 3.
It is the Super Eagles' striker's second hat trick of the season and moves Genk up on the league table to 8th.
The win for Genk ended their three-game winless streak and kept their hopes alive to finish in the Belgian league play-offs.
