Watford striker, Emmanuel Dennis says he is happy to be back in the Super Eagles team and considered representing Nigeria an honour.
The 24-year-old had missed out on representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in January after Watford refused to release the striker following a late call-up.
Dennis in a post on Twitter says all focus is now on the World Cup play-offs against Ghana as it seems the striker has put the setback of the AFCON miss behind him.
"Happy to be back, always an honour to represent my country.
"Total focus for the World Cup qualifiers."
Dennis was amongst 32 players listed by coach, Augustine Eguavoen for the crucial World Cup play-offs against Ghana.
The Watford striker will jet out with the rest of the Super Eagles squad on Wednesday, March 23 ahead of the first-leg tie on Friday, March 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Etebo excited to be back in Super Eagles
Meanwhile, fellow Watford midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has expressed his delight in returning to the Super Eagles team.
According to Complete Sports, the 25-year-old is making a comeback after being sidelined for 6 months since getting injured in September 2021.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Augustine Eguavoen was reportedly left furious following the late arrival of Emmanuel Dennis to the camp.
While his two Watford teammates William Troost-Ekong and Oghenekaro Etebo arrived on time, Dennis reported a day after training commenced.
The Super Eagles camp was thrown open on Monday, March 21 ahead of the first-leg encounter billed to hold at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
