Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen is presently sweating over the availability of Leicester City winger, Ademola Lookman for Nigeria's World Cup play-off against Ghana.
The 24-year-old winger is currently battling with illness and might not be fully fit to partake in the crucial game that will determine one of Africa's five representatives at the 2022 World Cup.
According to Complete Sports, Lookman was absent as Leicester City coasted to a 2-1 home win against Brentford on Sunday, March 20.
The Leicester City attacker who was only just cleared by FIFA to represent Nigeria may now have to wait to make his debut for the Super Eagles.
The 24-year-old was part of 32 players listed by Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen to prosecute the doubleheader games against arch-rivals Ghana.
Omeruo, Dennis arrive Super Eagles camp
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles camp is bubbling with excitement following the arrivals of Kenneth Omeruo and Emmanuel Dennis.
The Vanguard reports the total players present at the Super Eagles Wells Carlton hotel camp in Abuja has now risen to 18.
Other players in the Nigeria camp include Kelechi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Innocent Bonke, Odion Ighalo, and captain Ahmed Musa.
Four UK Based players hit Super Eagles camp
Earlier, Sports Brief reported the Super Eagles camp is coming alive following the arrival of five players ahead of the crucial World Cup play-offs against Ghana on Friday, March 25.
William Troost-Ekong alongside Leon Balogun, Frank Onyeka, Semi Ajayi, and Ola Aina were the first players to hit the Super Eagles camp in Abuja on Monday, March 21.
The players' arrival was confirmed in a tweet by the official handle of the Super Eagles.
