Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi believes the FIFA World Cup final eliminator with Ghana will be a difficult tie.
Nigeria will play as guests to their sworn rivals at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on March 25 before hosting the Black Stars at the Abiola Stadium in Abuja four days later.
The three-time African champions will be seeking a fourth successive appearance at the global showpiece, while Ghana will be yearning to return to the Mundial for the first time since 2014.
Ghana exited the recently held Africa Cup of Nations at the group stages, failing to win a game at the biennial tournament while Nigeria reached the round-of-16, but considering the storied history between the two nations, the two-legged tie is bound to be epic.
Ndidi, who has been named in a star-studded squad by interim manager Augustine Eguavoen, has cautioned his side for the contest against Ghana.
"It will mean a lot for us to go back to the World Cup," Ndidi told ESPN as quoted by Ghanaweb.
"But Ghana will not be easy. To be honest, we have to be careful about their whole team and not just any specific players. It will be two tough games." He ended.
