African champions, Senegal are likely to miss goalkeeper Alfred Gomis for the crucial World Cup play-off against Egypt next week.
The Teranga Lions will travel to Cairo for the first leg before hosting the same opponents four days later in Dakar.
Ahead of the game, Gomis confirmed news of his injury on social media, making him a doubt for the clash next week.
"In the last game, I suffered a hand injury that will keep me off the field for a while. I am already doing my best to pick up the pace in order to resume training with the team as soon as possible. I would be the first to bear with and for you!," he wrote on Twitter.
The Senegal second choice goalkeeper picked up the injury during the game against Olympique Lyonnais in the Ligue One on Sunday.
His absence will be a big blow for the African champions, despite having the best goalkeeper in the world in their fold.
Edouard Mendy will be busy in the two-legged game if Senegal are to make it to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Senegal beat Egypt last month to win their first ever Africa Cup of Nations title.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that newly crowned African champions, Senegal are expected to make no changes to the squad that won AFCON 2021 ahead of their World Cup play-off against Egypt.
Senegal beat the same opponents on penalties to win the tournament in Egypt earlier this year, and will battle it out for one of Africa's slot at the World Cup in Qatar.
