Mourinho declares Ronaldo the GOAT
But while delving into the never-ending GOAT debate, Mourinho snubbed both Messi and Cristiano, declaring Ronaldo Nazario as the greatest to grace the game.
According to the former Premier League manager, the Brazilian legend is miles ahead of Messi and Cristiano, especially when it comes to talent and skill.
"Ronaldo, El Fenomeno," Mourinho declared when asked by Livescore who he thinks the football GOAT is.
Mourinho ceded that both Ronaldo (CR7) and Messi have had longer careers and remained at the top consistently for 15 years or so.
"However, if we are talking strictly about talent and skill, nobody surpasses Ronaldo [Nazario]," he added.
