Ghana and AS Roma teen talent Felix Afena-Gyan has disclosed his readiness to improve aspects of his game in order to ensure he reaches his full potential.
The Berekum-born attacker has seen his career rise like dough in a breakthrough season that has seen him transition from Roma's junior side to the senior team.
Since his debut for the Giallorossi, where he scored two amazing goals, Afena-Gyan has been a regular fixture in Jose Mourinho's side despite not starting most of the games owing to the form of the prolific former Chelsea hitman Tammy Abraham.
In spite of his young age, Felix has already marked his competitive debut for Ghana, where he helped the Black Stars secure a World Cup berth in Qatar 2022.
With accolades coming in thick and fast for the 19-year-old, Afena-Gyan reckons there is more room for improvement in order to reach the pinnacle in his career.
“I still have a long way to go and I will do my best to improve even more. Even if I don't score, I want to help the team win. Young people? Everyone must make their contribution. At first, it wasn't easy for me, but now things are going well,” Felix Afena-Gyan shared as quoted by Football Ghana.
