Real Madrid board disappointed with Ancelotti
Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s hierarchy is extremely unhappy with Carlo Ancelotti following the club’s disappointing defeat in the hands of Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, Madrid Universal reports.
The board criticised the veteran manager for being too adamant about his approach and not having a plan B as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat in front of their supporters at Santiago Bernabeu.
Ancelotti is also experiencing an internal sense of disappointment because the Italian is dissatisfied with how Real Madrid is pursuing his departure from Santiago Bernabeu more aggressively than the Brazilian national team.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Real Madrid failed to muster a single shot on target as the Los Blancos suffered a painful 1-0 loss to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semifinal first leg.
Despite Real Madrid dominating most of the possession, Eder Militao’s own goal was all Barcelona needed to come away from Santiago Bernabeu with victory.
Los Blancos managed 13 shots against Xavi’s men but none of those attempts including the four from Luka Modric were able to hit the target against Barcelona.
