Zinedine Zidane has provided insight on when he will return to management, after being out of job since exiting his role as Real Madrid boss.
Zidane last managed Los Blancos, where he vacated his position as head coach after the 2020-21 season, revealing there is a disconnection between the club's top hierarchy and himself.
Since vacating his post, the former France midfielder has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, where he was considered as the favourite to assume the hot seat following the sack of Mauricio Pochettino.
However, the three-time World Footballer of the Year suggested he will prefer to handle his native country, which is currently managed by former teammate Didier Deschamps.

Speaking to RMC Sport, the former Real Madrid manager has admitted he will return to management soon, but will bide his time for the right job to come along at the right moment.
“Do I miss being a coach - no. I’m never too far away from a job. But we’ll wait a little bit. Soon, soon. But hey, I’m just enjoying it now,” Zizou said as quoted by Get French Football News.
Zidane's achievements as a coach
The 50-year-old guided Real Madrid to three consecutive Champions League trophies from 2015 to 2018, becoming the first manager to reach the milestone since the competition was rechristened.

Zidane wants to coach France
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Zinedine Zidane has hinted he would love to coach the France national team when he returns to football management.
The former Real Madrid boss has been out of management for more than a year, after quitting his role at Santiago Bernabeu.
However, the 50-year-old recently opened up about his desire to make a return to the dugout, insisting it has always been his passion.
