Karim Benzema betrayed the trust of Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior, as Los Blancos dropped points for the first time this term.
Benzema, who was returning from an injury lay-off, had the opportunity to keep Real Madrid's 100 per cent start to the 2022-23 season intact.
The Frenchman however, who scored a staggering 44 goals in 46 matches across all competitions last season, missed from 12 yards as Madrid shared the spoils with 10-man Osasuna on Sunday, reports BBC.
It was the second time the 34-year-old has missed from the spot this season. However, it was Vinicius Junior's reaction before Benzema's missed attempt that has made the rounds on the internet.

Prior to Benzema stepping up to take the penalty, Vinicius already had his hands in the air as he prepared to celebrate but unfortunately, the Brazilian counted his chickens before they hatched.
The usually reliable Benzema saw his effort crash against the crossbar, much to the disappointment of Vinicius.
Madrid eventually mustered a series of attacks, including a goal which was chopped off as offside as Osasuna held the defending La Liga champions to a 1-1 draw.
